Improving Service by Channel, DITM Participates CES Again

   The world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow—2007 International CES was held on January 8-11 in Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo and Convention Center of Las Vegas, Nevada.

    A large amount of news consumer electronics products debuted on the show. Exhibitors from all over the world also tried their best to attract attendees to their exhibiting space. And in the wake of Asia Electronics Show on August 2006 in Shenzhen, DITM’s participation for 2007 International CES still acquired great concern.


DITM: Converging Customers by Integrated Marketing
????    Just one year ago, CCPIT Electronic Information Industry Sub-council took DITM’s Electronics Market and promotion materials for AES (Asia Electronics Show) to CES. And it is welcomed by CES organizing committee which publicized it particularly.

    Just the same DITM and in the same time, the feelings are very different from one years ago. In this time, DITM brought brand new “Integrated Marketing” mode to appear on the show. When the journalist asked the person in charge of DITM, she said, “Last year, AES ‘Round the World Operation’ chose Las Vegas as its first station in total 36 cities around the world and it made great impact. This year, we still bring with AES, but there’s a little difference that is the integrated marketing. We just want to make our own contribution for China’s electronic information industry through this mode. And I hope it also will acquire great success.”?

    It is known that, more than 2,700 exhibitors including Microsoft, Intel and HP etc., participated the tradeshow. And IBM also took part again after ten years. It is predicted that 2007 International CES will received 150,000 attendees from 135 countries. And the exhibiting space for new products is as large as thirty-five American football stadium.

   Person in charge of DITM also said, besides their own media resources, they also brought many Chinese manufacturers’ promotion materials to CES (it’s also a part of integrated marketing service) for better connecting to buyer around the world.


DITM: Independent Channel—Service Platform

    In recent years, as the widening of application range of consumer electronics, computer, communication technology and products has taken critical position in CES. So, more and more manufacturers come to CES to seek new business opportunities.

    Person in charge of DITM said, CES broke many records in 2006 like net exhibiting space 1,670,000 square feet (about 155,000 sqm) which increased by more than 13,000 sqm, 2,550 exhibitors etc. Compared to them, DITM also has its own advantages like lots of labor-intensive and knowledge-intensive enterprises, OEM/ODM manufacturers etc.

    Compared to the past technology-centered industry, there are some significant changes at present. People want to know what kind of service they will get, and what the effect for their business is.

    So far, according to news form AES Promotion & Introduction exhibiting space, many attendees come to ask for promotion materials about AES and “Integrated Marketing”. They said they wanted to know detailed information about this AES—the Asia’s largest electronics exhibition. Meanwhile, some world famous enterprises also showed strong interest to “Integrated Marketing”, even some of them talked about the detailed questions about how to use this service.

    One of company form Shenzhen who saw the promotion of Electronics Market which is the CCPIT official publication in CES said, “The service of DITM has improved a lot, especially the ‘Integrated Marketing’ mode. It not only makes us connect to the buyers to save our cost and time, but also lets foreign buyers know about us and improves our trust.”

    Person in charge of DITM said, for many Chinese enterprises, they just don’t have such kind of chances. So, DITM will create more such kind of chances for domestic enterprises through CCPIT Electronic Information Industry Sub-council. With tailored marketing plan and comprehensive services, integrated marketing not only has the sole communication effect but also has an optimized communication effect by integrating the multi-services, and this is also the breakthrough compared to the traditional media communication mode.

    In addition to that, person in charge of DITM said, they would hold four different promotion conferences in four-day’s CES. Besides the relevant enterprises, resources and exhibition, Chinese culture also would be added in this promotion for foreigners’ better understanding about our Chinese enterprises.

    According to the statistics ended in third day of CES, about 36,000 promotion materials were sent out. More than 8,000 attendees came to the booth for inquiry on relevant services, and some of them had reached agreements.
