2006 Asia Electronics Show (AES) Launched the |
|
2006 Asia Electronics Show (AES), which was charged by Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), jointly organized by CCPIT Electronic Information Industry Sub-council and Guangzhou DITM Co., Ltd. was hold in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from August 27th to 30th, 2006.
The four-day long exhibition not only attracts the companies ranging from fields of electronic components, equipment suppliers and communications to home appliance, but also attracts many countries’ consulates organized the delegation to visit the exhibition. Meanwhile, AES consists of exhibition and show, quality forum, business talks, on-site online interactive, certification service and high-tech experience which are greatly interested the domestic and foreign visitors and guests. Apart from that, the AES also realized the breakthrough which means from the “Product Show” to “Key Partner Brand Show” by integrating each part of industry chain and the content and form, will make AES be the No.1 Show of “Asia Trade Window”.
Since the year of 2004, the new global competition and cooperation model has made great changes under the situation of rapid development of China electronic information industry. In 2004, TCL merged and reconstructed Thompson color TV division and Alcatel mobile phone division; in 2002 and 2003, BOE acquired Hyundai’s TFT-LCD manufacturing line and AOC and then acquired Philips Monitor division; and Lenovo merged IBM PC division and to be the top 3 PC manufacturer. These international merges and acquisitions deepened the industry division and strengthened the enterprises’ international competence. Meanwhile, China electronic enterprises started to transform from the “Only-depend on Color TV” and maximized the value of industry chain by cooperating with up-stream and down-stream manufacturers to integrating the cross-fields in the way of strategy alliance.
However, when China electronic information industry is accelerating the steps to the world, it also have to cope with more and more trade conflicts. The brand advantage is growing in the fiercely competition, the whole society is establishing “Information Society without Obstacle” and “Intelligent Nation”. And the new round industry resource is also will be reallocated and the new market model will develop faster.
When all above micro and objective factors are influencing the process of China electronic information industry’s transformation from “Made in China” to “Made by China”, CCPIT Electronic Information Industry Sub-council and Guangzhou DITM Co., Ltd. brought out Asia Electronics Show which themed “Trade Promotion by High Quality” according to the research to the China electronic industry chain with the integration of CCPIT resources and the fruitful exhibition experiences in overseas and nation.
To keep up with the development of industry, the AES has four following characteristics:
I. Looking for key partner on demand chain, attracting international exhibitor
After the market research, the AES organizing committee reckons that the exhibition structure has transformed from “Large and Complete” to “Innovating the Whole Industry Demand Chain”. And this acquired wide support and attendance in industry.
Here is the exhibits arrangements: Hall 1：Audio & Video, IT & Digital Products, Certification, Test/Measurement, Home Appliance, Telecommunication, Automobile Accessories, Import & Export; Hall 2 3.4：The 12th of Southeast Electronic Manufacturing Equipment and the Micro Electron Industry Exhibition (NEPCON South China); Hall 6: Accessories (electronic components and accessories). The exhibitors mainly include many excellent foreign and domestic electronic components, IT, home appliance, Audio & Video and micro-electron enterprises such as Founder Technology, Gigabyte, ECAR, NUOPO, INNOV KINGWON and ATCOM etc.
“In an industry chain, whatever you work in back stage or front for brand, there is only one key point that is demand. So what AES do is establishing a platform to help enterprises find their key partners to towards world brand.” The person in charge of DITM said.
II. Enterprise talks in quality forum, clarify business thought
For widening the show platform, AES realized the free business opportunities and information communication for each enterprise. Meanwhile, the 2nd International Electronic Quality Forum & Awarding Ceremony for Top 100 Electronic Enterprises for Quality in China, jointly organized by China Quality Management Association for Electronics Industry and Guangzhou DITM Co., Ltd, was hold in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on August 27th, 2006. The forum themed Create Mode, Follow Collaboration, Towards Excellence and invited famous enterprises such as Philips Sound Solutions, Lenovo, Haier, UPS and TTE etc. to share their experience and cases, and discuss how to towards excellence. On August 28th, DITM also held “the 4th International Seminar for Test & Measurement---Special for RoHS Test” and “the 4th Multi-country Certification Seminar”.
III. Foreign governmental and institutional groups
AES also set the international specialized area and cooperated with many chambers of commerce around the world and invited them to AES. Meanwhile France consulate and China Commerce Department, Japan External Trade Organization, German Industry and Commerce and Chinese CEO Organization answered the foreign trade questions on-site. In addition to that, the organizing committee also showed the interactive platform on-site and released the demand information. It is helpful for local enterprises entering into the purchasing lists of foreign purchasers. It’s also one of the spotlight of the AES.
IV. Digital show, touch future life by technology
For improving the interactive experience for life and technology, there is a high-tech experience zone with 500 m2 in AES which including PC Game Experience Zone, Movie Experience Zone, Video & Audio Experience Zone and MTV Experience Center etc. It’s a good chance to touch the future technology for each visitors.
Looking back the whole AES, the organizing committee first introduced the international concepts to China and established a wide platform for the electronic information industry chain covering the up-stream and down-stream enterprises, which largely improved the relationship in the degree of international and its inner parts. AES will further push China electronic information industry to the world and create the real Made by China, make the China electronic information industry chain more complete, and accelerate the steps towards world.
