The annual International Flat Board Displayer Conference was held in Shenzhen August 8th, 2007 during AES. Jointly organized by DITM and USA market research institute iSuppli, this conference was held in China for the 4th time, aimed to strengthen international technological exchange & cooperation on flat board displayer, and to advance the development of this industry in China.

In the opening ceremony, Wang Bingke, vice secretary of Economic System Reform and Operation Department of Information Industry Ministry, delivered the opening speech, followed by the review for the past year & prospect by Dr. Zhang Subing, chief technical supervisor with Test Center of Digital TV Standard of Information Industry Ministry. Mr. Paul Semenza, vice chief executive of iSuppli, was to give a summarization of the global flat board displayer system while CMO’ Mr. Chen Liyi, Chief of LCD TV Panel Department, would also express his own understanding in the conference.
